yep i that is him. elizabeth his wife was also known as betty/betsy/eliza. eventually she lived at woodcutters avenue in eastwood, where the bohemia estates was. the childs name is actually lenda buckley who went on to marry santalina buckley but she married in the name of kirlenda smith. smith is a name often used by the buckley's  ::) lazzi & eliza went on to have aout 8/9 children.
it still does'nt tally up though, does it. as james father is harry livermore on marriage cert but from the census it is john?
not really sure now, wonder if he used the name john? maybe a nik-name growing up or perhaps he didnt like harry? or might not be the same person.!!!
if you find out if it is a match then i have a few listings for james & matilda livemores childrens baptisms but would probably need to send them to your pm.
good luck

On the census James' (and Joseph's) mother is Sarah Livermore, Licensed Hawker, aged 23, widowed.

On Joseph, my Grandfather's, marriage certificate, his father is listed as John Livermore, Labourer, deceased, which fits with the census.

However, we know that James' father was Harry, but that definitely isn't the same person as John, as John was deceased in 1911, but James' father was alive in 1912.

Confusing huh!

Hi Dolly

I think your Nan may be a Scarratt. I've just found this marriage in the index on Ancestry:

Stephen Livermore and Sarah Scarratt
Married September Quarter, 1921
Registration District: Rochford, Essex

I think Rochford covers Eastwood.

Best wishes
