Hes not listed on the 1st 1000 volunteers in Nov 1914 but could have joined later...Was he from Bradford? The library has the City Roll which lists men who served with dates and addresses.It also has a card index of all men that are mentioned in the local papers.

If he went overseas he isnt listed as doing so with the Bradford Pals who were 16th and 18th West Yorkshire Regiment...There are also 2x Laveracks listed as WYR but not Frank.

Yes he lived in Bradford at the outbreak of war but was born in York, he was in Bradford on 1901 census

I think i may have found him on Ancestry Service Records...Did he live at Grafton Street Bradford?
If so he was in the Home Service Company of the Labour Corps...Theres about 19 pages just looked at the third page it lists family members.
