baptism look up please

Hi All
Could somebody please look up a baptism for Matthew Tomlinson c1722?

Buried 1785 Greasley, with estimated Year of Birth 1722.
He was married to Mary Eyre in Radford in 1753.
Their children were born in Greasley and Radford, so I'm guessing he was born somewhere around there.
I haven't been able to find a baptism for him anywhere on ancestry.

I think we all must be struggling on this one. There is nothing on the Notts FHS CD, but the parish of Greasley is only covered from 1773.  I have also checked the BIVRI and had a look at the marriage entry on the Phillimores, but no clues there I'm afaid.

How sure are you that he was born in Notts. Like Carol I've found his burial record, his marriage to Mary Eyre and what appear to be their 4 children, but nothing else.

His burial gives his age at death as being 63, confirming your estimate of his birth being 1722.

I've found a Matthew on IGI baptized 6th March 1722, but it was at Walton In Ainsty, Yorkshire - I wonder if this could have been him???

Thank you so much for trying.
I'm at a loss with this one - I too have found the marriage, the children and the death.
As you say there are no clues anywhere. Plenty of Tomlinsons in the area who could be his parents, but no baptism entries for Matthew.
I thought there maybe something in the registers that weren't available online, but alas.
I'll check out the Yorkshire angle, thank you BG - I just wanted to eliminate Notts before I started looking elsewhere.
