Kelly/Mc Gill/Magill Dublin
« on: Monday 05 January 09 11:53 GMT (UK) »
Hello everyone,
I have recently found a number of family members but one remains elusive. (Lizzie Kelly)
Thomas Kelly married Norah Larrisey in Sandymout Dublin in 1892. The first child Thomas was born a year later1883.
On 1911 Census 6 kids were documented Thomas 28, Catherine 21, Patrick 15, James 14, Henry 11, Mary 5. The census stated 11 children had been born, 9 were alive. We also know that Arthur 16 & John/Jack 21 lived in Armagh at time of 1911 census. There was another sister called Lizzie but we have no record of her.
The first child Thomas was born in Dublin city. Catherine was born in Cobh/Queenstown Cork & Patrick born Co Wicklow. Its possible Lizzie was born in one of these 3 places. Can anyone help?
One family source says Lizzie emigrated - another said she married Mc Gill/Magill & lived in Dublin. I know there is a lot of information here to decipher but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello again,
I was wondering if new information has been added to continue with this search all these years later.

I would still like to find anything about Lizzie Kelly.

Also can a birth date/certificate be found for Arthur Kelly, son of Thomas Kelly & Honora (Nora) Larrisey? They were married in Sandymount Dublin in 1882.

Arthur was 16 in 1911 census. I sent to Dublin for a certificate years ago but it is the wrong one. It said the family lived in Bride St Dublin but this is the wrong family

Recently I couldnt find anything on Family Search site. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Norh

Just to add the family had two sons named Arthur
Arthur Joseph was born on Aug 24 1886 LINK
He was baptised in Cloyne Parish on Aug 28 1886
Sponsors were James BALAM & Ellen WALSH
He is presumably deceased by 1892 when the second Arthur was born in 1892

Do you have all 11 children or are you looking?

Hi myluck,

This is fantastic I had no clue about 2 Arthurs!! I knew there was a Cork connection and this proves it. Brilliant. Much appreciated.

Are there records for any of the other siblings? Jack/John, Jim, Molly, Kitty, Lizzie, Harry, Paddy, Tom? These are the names I have but I dont have any proof. Just saw the 1901 Census you shared. Didnt realise they had moved around so much. Cork, Wicklow, Dublin, Belfast...

Including 2 Arthurs that makes 10 children. There were 11 mentioned on one of the Census records. Any idea what the other child was called?

Many thanks
