Hi All,
I have now completed transcribing the momumental Inscriptions of the surviving headstones within the Old Dalbeth Cemetery, Glasgow. I also have photographs off all these stones.
If anyone would like a copy of either the inscriptions and / or the photographs send me a PM.

Gerry.

Just came across your posts re Old  Dalbeth Cemetry. While researching my maternal side of family i found out that my g.g.grandfather is buried in old dalbeth. He died in 1893.He is not on the list of surviving headstones.Does this mean that he was buried on common ground.

Hi Naul,

No, it just means there is no headstone left in the cemetery which bears his surname.
If you contact the Scottish catholic Archives with his name and date of death they should be able to give you detais of his lair.
