Hi Rosedale,
I don't know if you will have time to do a quick look up for me? Don't worry if you have too much to do.

I was told by the record office that the records are held there on microfilm.  I am looking for the baptism for a James Stephenson  born approx 1811  in Arkholme but the parish church for that time was St Wilfred's Melling in Lonsdale.

Thanks Wendy.

Hi Rosedale
Thanks for your message. At the moment i can not send you a pm as i am a newbie. Any way the answer to your question is i don't know if that lady was his wife.I can only find his son Eward who was born in Lancashire in 1841 -42.There could also be a problem with the spelling of the surname because his marriage certificate is Cattrell in 1862 and in the census he is cattroll from 1869 until today. This is all very confusing and i know how hard it must be for you. Thanks once again for all your help good luck
Fanta

Hi,

if it's not too much trouble, could you do a look up for me please?

A marriage between Samuel Briscoe and Mary Gaskell, 10 August 1835, St. Mark's Church, Liverpool. Any information on the register would be very much appreciated.

I have looked in the Liverpool RO but, they havn't got these records. It has been suggested to me that Lancashire RO may have them.

Hi,

I wondered whether your offer still stood to find people at the lancashire records office, please?

I am struggling with my ggg grandad, Richard Airey. He was born about 1827 in Dolphinholme.

He was abit of a rogue and abandoned my ggg nan after only a few years of marriage! I have found him on the 1951 census, but ther are 3 possibilities, at least, on the 1841 census.

If you are not able to do this, no worries

Best Wishes

Tracey

I'm looking for any information on James Berry and spouse Lucy Ann Sayer.  They were in the 1871 census living at 31 Aspinall St, Birkdale Liverpool.  It did say he came from Greenock but i have not been able to find details of them or relatives anywhere and I've been search for a few years now.  Many thanks to you.
