GUY, Madeley
« on: Friday 16 January 09 08:49 GMT (UK) »
I have just discovered my paternal grandmother's place of Birth in the 1911 census.
Beatrice GUY b c1888 Madeley
It seems looking at the 1891 and 1901 census that her parents were Thomas and Annie Maria

Anybody researching GUY in Shropshire?

Thomas Guy b 1822 is my great grandfather. He had a son called Thomas b1866, from his marriage to Eliza. Is this the same one as in your tree?

Thanks for that link. Interesting to read.
Re connection with Thomas b 1866, if he is the issue, I mentioned he would be a brother of my paternal granfather Arthur Edward Guy b 1884. Appreciate though there were plenty of Guys in Salop; my lot seemed to come from Wrockwardine Wood.

I've got an Isaac Guy, born c:a 1799 in Madeley in my family tree, with a son, Thomas born c:a 1827. Are these related to any of the above?
