WW1 - Queen Mary's Aux Corps
« on: Saturday 17 January 09 13:07 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I am trying to identify some information relating to my Grandmother "Gertrude Ainsworth" who volunteered and served in France in WW1 as a member of the Queen Mary's Auxiliary Corp.  She never talked about her experiences and whilst I have located her Medal Card and identified she was listed as a "Worker" with a Regt No 2203, I have not been able to find out anything more about her service.  As our family have a strong military connection I would be grateful for any advice or guidance on how I could get additional information about her service in the Queen Mary's Auxiliary Corp, so I can further develop our family history.
Regards
Paul Spencer
