Help needed with birthplaces

Hi
Would someone please look at the attached file and help me decipher where the different members of my Corbett fam were born.
I know Selina and Jabez were born Tipton, but no idea as to the rest.

I think the top 3 are born in Worcestershire, respectively in Clifton, (can't decipher - begins with B?) and Mamble.

A useful site for checking possibilities (having at least deciphered the County) is http://www.fhsc.org.uk/genuki/REG/index.htm which lists all the Registration Districts in England and Wales.  However, that's not foolproof as often the Birthplace given can be a village which is too small to be listed.  An alternative site, also quite useful in this sort of quest is http://www.gazetteer.co.uk/

Yes I see all three as Worcestershire, and the first one looks like Clifton, the second one seems to begin with P (Preston)? and the third one, I think, is Mumbles.

You don't say which Census this is - have you tried looking at the other ones, the writing may be clearer on those ??

It is from the 1851 Sedgley, Staffs census.

I have looked at other writing on other pages but without inspiration. Also i dont know Worcs at all, so i'm not  much help!

I think you are right about Clifton and Mamble. Is there a Preston in Worcs?

I am nearly there just the last one to go.........
