Daniel ap Harry b. 1662, Machynlleth
« on: Saturday 31 January 09 15:12 GMT (UK) »
Daniel ap Harry b. 1662, Machynlleth, said to be the son of Harry Thomas Owen and his wife Elizabeth. They were Quakers. There was a more famous, wealthy, and well-documented Harry Thomas Owen who had been to Oxford, and has a long pedigree. It seems unlikely to me that he became a poverty-stricken Quaker. A century ago (?) these two families were joined. I strongly suspect this is an error. I think "my" Harry Thomas Owen, poor and obscure, was someone else. Looking for any information on him or his wife.

Daniel Harry emigrated to Pennsylvania and d. 1736 in Uwchlan Twp. There his daughter Elizabeth Harry/Harris mar. John David/Davies.
