Just to let folk know that there is a fantastic collection of photos, diaries and telegrams for sale on a well known auction site for the Hall family of Nottingham.  Lot No 260354385424

It ends on the 5th Feb.

Thanks for taking the time to post this. Sadly, it isn't our Hall family from Nottingham, but interesting all the same. (I might just see if there is any connection, but doubt it).
I see he's got some interesting old photos of Nottingham, too. Pity they can't got to the local studies library, so everyone can enjoy them; but at least we get a peak before they are sold.

Got to agree with you, it would have been fantastic to own that kind of Family History - Unfortunately my Grt Grt Grandparents William HALL & Charlotte North lived in/came from Sutton Bonnington and did not quite live that kind of life.
