names and ages have been withdrawn after someone pointed it out that it went against copytright issues.  Since the info was aimed at Dsicwizard and she has seen the info I have removed it.

Frances rowe b.1913 famous actress can't find much on her anyhelp would be great i know her father was mortimer rowe ud think information on frances/francis would be easy but it isnt. did she have children was she married were did she live i havent a clue

Hello, I'm trying to find out the history of the street of a house I'm buying in Leeds. The street name is Atha Street. The street and the houses were built by John Atha in the late 1800s according to the title for my house at Land Registry, which is was led me to this thread. Not sure if it helps you out, but who knows, maybe you might find some information on census. I think John Atha may have lived in the street, as the houses are a bit more upmarket than the normal back to backs, there's also a covenant in the deeds to prohibit ever building back to backs on the street, as well as not using the premises for distilling alcohol, horse slaughtering or soap production. Atha Street, Beeston (near Cross Flatt's Park), Leeds, LS11 7BT.
