The 1851 shows Charles was a butcher so definitely the right 1841 entry

Edwin is 5 and William is 7

Edwins birth is registered as LAURENCE on freebmd in March qtr 1846 Axbridge 10 349

So Mary must have died between March qtr 1846-March qtr 1851

Ages were rounded down in 1841 so she could have been 24 then so age 36 only 7 yrs later doesn't seem right

I do think that is the correct burial - one of the ages may be entered incorrectly. I have people who age nearly 20 years between 1841 and 1851. ::)

The rest of the family are buried in Blagdon - even if Mary died elsewhere she would have likely been returned for burial. There is only 1 othe Mary in Blagdon inb 1841 daughter of Henry and Patience. She is aged 20. They only married in 1817.

Looking at the other burials Sydenham ages 7 years in 6 months, Mary 8 years in 7 months.

Charles and Mary do not appear to have married in Blagdon. marriages and banns are still visible Online through web archive

Wow you have been busy. I had this problem with Mary. It doesn't help with the constent change in the spelling of Lawrence. I'm also wondering if Charles may have died before the 1861 census. I say this as I noticed that William and Edwin are living elsehere as a visitor. So ho know. But All this help is wonderful.
