;D    Thanks to all those kind people who have helped its much appreciated.  Durham Records have Robert Wilson (1867) as being buried 3rd March 1926 in Murton Cemetary.  Apparently re a family member the old churchyard in Murton, he used to visit the grave when he was little with his dad.

Note: Previously thought Robert born 1870 as per marriage cert and 1901 census but he lied...... he was actually born 1867 we think it may be that his bride was a good bit younger than him and perhaps being born later was a bit more acceptable to her family.........who knows he obviously had his reasons, death cert has 1867 and also early census before he disapeared from Cumberland and appeared Co Durham.
Wilson - Co Durham
Wilson - Whitehaven area
Tinkler - Co Durham
Schonewald - Co Durham
Brown /Hollingsworth- Birmingham
Kennedy/Ellis/Thomson - Forth, Scotland
Henderson - Carlisle
Mitchell / McQuade - Annan

cheers Andrea, was worried about that.I  have sent  p.m. to moderator 'rootschat' to see if there's any other way round it as i feel awkward having to ask for personal details.

The pm system is absolutely private so nobody can see any details exchanged that way.   You just click on the scroll under the name and a box comes up offering you that option.
