so far all the pictures have looked really impressive.

re the slideshows they are trying to make it easy but i am not very techie either, [they lost me at the first mention of figures] i switch off as soon as i see numbers.

It's still far too big for an avatar (Max 20kb) and reducing it to around that size produces severe degradation of some of the images.

i must be brain dead,  so sorry i should have done it myself.  i had been going to pm them all that's how daft i am at the moment.

I've been around here longer than you Rabbit so know the shortcuts - so don't worry about it 

Anyway, as I said that I just loved the destructive blue sheen on the original, I thought that I'd do a very quick version myself on this old laptop

Added - just noticed now that I'm on my desktop that the first one is not at all how it was on the laptop (colour calibration is up the spout on that!) The second one is more as I wanted it to be!

Most of my art work is about aging, decay, weathering, rust, charred materials, old flotsam and jetsam - don't know why - 'it turns me on' so it seemed natural to me to emphasize it.

There's beauty in decay is my theme, I suppose - you should see some of the stuff I've done

We all grow old and decay, Gadget, and I often look at these photos of the old folk, and I see beauty there, so I can understand.
Just because something/someone is old, doesn't mean it's ready for the great scrapheap in the sky.
