Thanks for that. Where are Watchfield and Bourton in relation to Shrivenham? Are they close?

Just had a look through the records on here. Managed to find the christenings of the Jones I have plus a couple of other possible siblings. However I couldn't find any marriages in the right period, the earliest Jones marriage I found was in the 1820s.

The earliest marriages that seem to be listed are 1755 so the search for William and Mary's marriage continues.

Hi Matt
I agree, Elizabeth baptized in Shrivenham in 1763 does look the likely one. And it does appear possible from those Shrivenham records that that her parents are buried there after her marriage date.
Saying she was a minor, when she'd have probably been 22, do you think they had lost track of her age?

Her likely burial at Chiseldon, 9 June 1837, doesn't help!
Elizabeth Keene
abode Badbury
age 71 years

Which gives appx birth of 1765/6 :-\

Hi John

That's her burial. I've been to the churchyward myself and have a photo of the grave. My ancestor is their daughter Jane who was christened in Badbury in 1808.

I think it is quite likely that they lost track of her age.
