Back to Neanderthals
« on: Sunday 15 February 09 05:17 GMT (UK) »
Yikes!  I think I have gone as far as I can go and right back to the Neanderthals!  Admittedly, there are still a few gaps still to fill from my generation back but .....

In my local newspaper there is a report that scientists have decoded 63% of the Neanderthals' DNA.  And "so far they have shown the Neanderthals lacked the gene that allows most Europeans to digest milk as adults".

Well, myself, one son and a granddaughter (child of my other son) have milk intolerance.  We have joined together to raise the profile of the Neandys who have attracted bad & derisive press.  We have to do something about the rest of the rellies who are laughing like drains.  Anyone else out there ?  Gazania
