Seeking iformation on William and George FARTHING, brothers from Somersetshire. Assisted imigrants to Australia on the 'Tartar" arrived Sydney 27/7/1857. William aged 19 and George 18 at the time.
Any help would be appreciated re. parents, birth, sibblings etc.

William is a cowboy on the farm of Robert Cox in same village he was born aged 14

William FARTHING = Jane HYDE Queen Camel 1 Sep 1834 witnesses John Hyde and Thomas Wilcox

This looks like my Farthings! William's marriage cert. lists his father as William Farthing and mother as Jane _.  Any way to find out their marriage details?

I wonder if the Charles 78 Ag Lab was William seniors father?

My first post!. I am looking at the same family Kerry.
My links are to the little brother of William and George, John. Looks like he followed the brothers to Australia, possibly in 1863, as he was married by 1870 in Australia.
I also presumed that the Charles (78) in the 41 census was William's father.

I am at a deadend with the boys' mother, Jane Hyde. b 09.08.1812 Queen Camel.
