Mum 44 Looks very likely as Jemima's maiden name was Taylor.

Hi Red
The Hoyes you where looking for are my relatives from my mothers side, I have traced them back to 1740.
I am from Cambridge, but cannot remember Staffordshire place, only Staffordshire St. I will have to research further to find Staffordshire Place.
It is about a mile apart from Cambridge Place, which where my other relatives lived the Kings. Both places are in what you would call the Town centre.
I had John and Jemima with only three children though, so thanks to you I have found 3 more.
If you want to compare notes let me know,
Regards
Terry

Yes Terry, I think we should compare notes by Personal Message in the first instance.

Thanks Selina, I heard of Staffordshire Place through this thread, and in view of my family's connection to Cambridge Place thought it might be in fairly close proximity.
