Researching GGgranfather Samuel Dones on 1851 Census for Alderton Gloustershire says he was born in Badsley c 1821
Any Help Would Be Fantastic

Looking in the parish register transcripts I found a Samuel Doanes bapt. 09 July 1820 son of Thomas (labourer) and Hannah, residence Badsey. Further down the page is a Mary Donnes bapt 22 May 1822 daughter of Samuel (labourer) and Alice, residence Aldington. http://www.badsey.net/history/bapt1820.htm
