1851 Census lookup Mifflin
« on: Monday 14 February 05 02:04 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I wonder if anyone would be able to check the 1851 census for a family containing a John Mifflin (possibly Miflin or Miffling) aged about 41, married to a Mary Ann (of unknown age) and with a daughter also called Mary aged about 16.

They were in Worcester in 1834 (John and Mary Ann Wells' marriage) and 1835 (Mary's christening) but I am not sure where they were after that. John was born and died in Staffordshire, so they may have only stayed in Worcester for a short time.

I am particularly interested in tracing when and where this Mary Ann Wells was born, as I have traced John's line back to his grandparents, but have no clues yet about Mary's

Thanks for looking

I can't see any direct link to my Miflins here. John's father was William Henry Miflin, but I suppose it could be an uncle.

More investigating needed, I feel.

I'm searching the Mifflin tree as my surname, I have John mifflin around 1810 born who married an ANNE Roberts, not found for sure his parents but is baptism in rugeley for John Miflin to a will and sarah, do you have any info from your research?
