Hugh Gibsone Ashby death Vancouver 1924

Hi All

Can anyone find this persons arrival in Canada or death.

The details are on his family gravestone in Northamptonshire.

Other people mentioned are his parents George Ashby (middle name) Ashbey
and Helen Gibsone ( she was the daughter of General Gibsone).

I haven't found Hugh on a passenger list, but both his death & marriage are at the BC archives site.

His marriage to Henrietta A Nelson on 30 dec 1909,which should narrow down his arrival in Canada and they should be on the 1911.

Can't see him in 1911,but he does appear as a lodger in 1891 and 1901.
Was her born c 1865? If so his DOB is 23 April 1865 and he went to Canada in 1884- if the census is correct

Born Aug 23 1865 in England, residing in BC in 1901, was a miner manager

If so on the 1901 census he states he came to Canada in 1884.
