Brede Parish Records (Birth)

I am looking for a birth record for James A Furminger b 1849 in Brede.

No idea who his parents were.

Bit of a longshot I know, but the James I thought had emigrated to America and who's trail I was busy following has just thrown a spanner in the works when I found a marriage entry for him in England.

That must be him.   My daughter's best friend is called Furminger - still in Sussex.

Thanks for that. I had forgotten that post i made. As seems all too common this turned out to be the wrong man, he was James Frederick Furminger.

The man we are looking for is either called James Joseph or Joseph James Furminger (seems to use both names) and according to the US census he was born somewhere between 1845 and 1849.

I would be very interested to make contact with the parents of your daughters friend as I have no contact with any Furminger living in Sussex.
