Euphemia Kinghorn born abt 1837 died 8 Jun 1906, is the illegiment child of Agnes Kinghorn born abt 1807 to Alexander and Jane. Euphemia married Robert Frater 31 Dec 1866 Ednam had at least 6 children that I know of Agnes, Robert, Isabella, Euphmia, George and Thomas.

So this  basically leaves Agnes to find parents for...
What a mixed up mess ...

Thank you all for your help, its good to have others view..

Hi Chris,

I don't know if this is of any significance but there is a Barbara Dickson born 6/3/1814 Ednam to parents Robert Dickson and Euphan Buccham. (family search)

Perhaps this Euphan is Jane Kinghorn's (nee Buckham) sister. Jane may therefore have had a daughter Barbara (naming her after her sister).  (amended, sorry naming her after her sister's daughter)

Just a thought. :)

Terry,

That is very interesting because till a couple of days ago I believed that Jane's maiden name was Buccham, and changed it to Buckham due to it being spelt this way on couple of the childrens marriages.

But Yes very much of interest
