That is scary.

I transcribe records, do look ups, etc, because I want to and can stop/ quit/ take a rest etc at any time:  the above reads to me as though "I have got to do this" and has nothing to do with enjoyment, pleasure or helping others.

Please advise as to your thoughts

  Hi Amy,  I couldn't resist!  Are you the East Sussex Parish Clerk?   I am an Aussie friend of Gwen Pritchett who was Parish Clerk for many years.  Do you know her?

I wish I had been researching this area when she was working there!    Regards.   Marie
