Alternative to Dun Ya Si Heritage Centre?

I truly appreciate the site, but it is costing me a fortune. Hoping that Ancestry.com or another site is available to help. I would be happy even if it could help to narrow the choices to avoid unnecessary inquires. Thanks Bob

I am not aware of any other web-site that covers Co. Westmeath parish records.

The two other sources I know of are the National Library in Dublin and certain LDS centres.. both on microfilm.

( I presume the title should have read 'Dún na Sí ')

Thank you Shane. The Dun Ya Si site is awesome, but I am getting killed at 5 Pounds a shot and that would be easier to take if I was not wasting some on ones that turn up incorrect or not related. Take care, Bob

Hi Bob,I know it can all add up !!! at the end of the day it can cost  a arm & a leg, even worse when you pay & find nothing really record only the persons name thats the worse thing of all ,always keep any info thats not relavent to your own research  because some one else may come alone looking for  info & you can fill them in with anything you've found out.The best thing of all is to order the parish records on microfilm from the LDS centre near where you live (on there site they list all the centres) but do bare in mind some times they are very hard to read .And as you know always ask on these pages you never know when you can strike lucky & find someone that has a link to your subject - good luck Bob regards Nipy
