Hello,

I was wondering if SKS could point me in the right direction. I am desperate to locate a marriage record for William I. Jones that took place in either Swansea or Cardiff between 1913 and 1920. Which record offices would be advised to contact? ThanKs.

I did a search for you on www.familyrelatives.org
there were 1810 possible entries for William Jones in Swansea & Cardiff between those years........good luck

There were no entries given at all for William I Jones.....

perhaps it is worth trying with his middle name in full ??  Do you have it ?

Another search has still produced nothing !

Do you have the name of his wife ??

I think after 1912 the spouse surnames are shown alongside....and can be included in a search !

No I am afraid I have no name for the bride! Only the date & place of  birth of the groom and his fathers name which is probably of no help is it?

Not really -  next question.... what about their children...is there a possibiloity of finding a birth certificate for one of them...which will give the mothers maiden name.....

No I don't have any certificates. Thanks so much anyway for trying to help. I hope someone will let me know if there is a specific registry office in Glamorgan that I can contact where records can be searched. So far I have been unable to find anything on line about that.
