Looking for family of James Frank BOWRING, Plumber Journeyman. Last known address in 1945, 8 Bedford Street, Cargo Fleet, Middlesborough. James' father was Horace Leonard BOWRING, who died before 1943.
Daughter, Elizabeth Ann BOWRING, born 29 October 1943, 8 Ash Street, Stockton.
James Frank may have been born in Liverpool area.

Thanks once more. I didn't have any info regarding siblings. I have a marriage cert (1943) for James Frank BOWRING age 32, BACHELOR, Plumber Journeyman, address 55 Thorpe Street, Stockton on Tees, fathers name Horace Leonard (deceased). He married my mother.

I am awaiting marriage cert (1932) of James Frank to Hylda Wilkinson to confirm it is the same James Frank. If it is, it may be a bigamous marriage. I have found James Frank's death in 1972. But my mother remarried as a widow in 1950.

I know Hylda BOWRING nee Wilkinson died 1990s.

Mum and Frank had a daughter whom I am trying to trace who I think was adopted at some point - no date.

I have left messages on Genes Reunited for BOWRINGs in Stockton with the hope that they will get back to me

Hi Keziah, i have just seen your message.

If we are on the same tracks frank bowring was my grandad and hilda bowring was my nana.
I know he was from the liverpool area and had 5 children with hylda one of which was my dad. I never met him as he died before i was born. What relation was he to you? I think this is all the same person we are talking about.
