Hi Maxine

Not found everything yet but thought I'd give you an update.

I have found the following births:

John Francois Arnold - St Clement Births, 1st Jan 1871 to 15th Dec 1885, page 34.
Julia Ann Arnold - St Helier Births, 3rd Feb 1866 to 9th Mar 1867, volume 22, page 357.
Percy James Arnold - St Saviour Births, 9th Nov 1894 to 18th Jan 1901, page 266.

I have not been able to find the birth of James G G Arnold, but I have found the birth of a James T G Arnold (Thomas Gifford). How sure are you that it's J G G ? That reference is St Helier Births, 1861 to 1862, volume 18, page 71.

I still have the two marriages to locate.

Stewart

PS I've just looked at the 1881 Census. It's been transcribed as James G G  but when you look at the original document I would say that it's James T G.

Hi Maxine

I've now gone through the marriages of St Helier, St Saviour and St Clement and I cannot see any marriage for James Arnold, born 1839 or James married to Margaret.

Whilst going through the marrtiages I did see:

Julia Ann Arnold - St Lukes Church, St Helier, May 1873 to December 1908, page 115.
Percy James Arnold - St Lukes Church, St Helier, December 1908 to June 1952 on page 124.

Hi Stewart
Thanks for the info on James and Ann Francis's kids.
I shall get in contact with the Jersey Archives and see about obtaining the birth certificates for them.
At least I'll be able to find out Ann Francis maiden name.
Thanks again for all your help.
From Maxine

Hi Maxine

You don't get certificates form the Archive Centre. You get them from the Registry Office. Details can be found at:

Stewart (and thanks for the offer).
