A Lady by the name of Mrs Walker phoned me today, she is the parish clerk of St Mary's of Pulford
She kindly gave me the details of my Ann Wedding, Reason Being - i applied to the register office for a copy of the certificate, however, they are still using the same book as in 1844 - how sweet is that  :D

29th april 1844 - st Mary's pulford
Edward Price - f/a occ: Servant of Poulton father: Paul Price occ: Lab
Ann Partington - f/a occ: Servant of Poulton father: Edward Partington occ; Lab
Witnessed by: Elizabeth Eato. (correct spelling) & John Roberts

there was a Ann aged 16 in 1841 in Boughton as a servant, with another servant Sarah Partington aged 15 ???
i Can't find Edward before his marriage  on the 1841 census - according to another gem on roots chat Edward Price was born in 1822 in Rossett (which i believe is just over the border)  :-[
i haven't managed to find  any of the census for Paul (apart from maybe one in 1841) and most of his children are "AWOL"! - including Edward

i know who they are from roots-chatter James (1824) John (1828) Thomas (1831) paul (1834) and Henry (1836)

x.

have you discounted this one from 1851 could be the same one who is born 1796 and living in pulford in 1841(although he is not with family in 1841)
HO107/2172/627/12.
paul price age 54. b. picton, cheshire. occ. farm labourer. head.
mary age 56. b. gresford,denbighshire. wife.
mary age 7. b. ditto. daughter.
mary challinor ager 60. b. hope,flintshire.(widow).pauper.
living at; pulford,cheshire

p,s, this family minus the child are still in pulford in 1861 in the ecclesiastical parish of pulford saint marys.

it would nt be his mother in law unless she was 6 when she had mary
could be his sister in law though
you would need to find a marriage of a mary challinor and paul price
and i cannot see one anywhere?

just thought if it was his sister in law that would make 2 mary challinors
1/ mary his wife
2/ mary the pauper
highly unlikely it is the sister in law
