Can any one search for a Family called the hamiltons that lived in Toberhewny in 1901?
I guess the 1901 census should have them in?

See that your query never got any replies because it was posted in Irish Resources board instead of under Co. Cavan board.
1901 census will eventually be added to National Archives website after they put online all of 1911 census. See here for details:
www.census.nationalarchives.ie

Meanwhile, you can order the 1901 census on microfilm from your local LDS library for a small fee if they don't have it in stock. See www.familysearch.org to check their online catalogue.

There may be other sources for 1901 census for Co.Cavan like subscription and  pay-per-view sites or some libraries.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
