Help with this name please
« on: Wednesday 11 March 09 15:04 GMT (UK) »
Hi Guys,

Well. I got the results back from my efforts at transcribing and although they were'nt perfect it was better than i thought.   One of my mistakes is this name.  I had transcribed it as W A Boulton Rector.  I 've looked at it more closely @@ and i think it says W H Boulton Rector.  What do you think?

There is a couple of others so watch this space lol

Agree with Nick on 1, 3 , 4

But maybe 2 could be Mary... that downward tail of y could have an "r" before it thus Mary?

Agree with Nick on all except May/Mary - I think this is Mary with a weak ending to the y  :)

I think you're all right,   I put May and it was wrong so have now changed it to Mary.

Thanks everyone
