(I think he might still be around in 1851 too- “supported by father”)
John Pierce bapt 9 Sep 1799 parents Andrew & Jane Pierce Longbridge Deverill

Andrew Pearce m Jane Brossier 13 March 1792 Longbridge Deverill

No Andrew Pearce shows up in the Westbury baptisms.  There are a couple in Upton Scudamore but in 1737 and 1780.

Thanks Nell I have theys Where will I get a map of Longbridge Deverill circa 1800 to find out where Church St. is, we paid a visit some time ago but the Church was undergoing major repairs Where would the farm of 80 acres be?Regards George

A map of the area for that time would be found at the records office or perhaps the local reference library.  However, there is this site:
http://www.old-maps.co.uk
which has the 19th century OS maps.  Put Longbridge Deverill into the seach box.  You can then zoom in on the map as required.  A bit later than you require but not too much will have changed.

born Westbury according to the 1851 and apparently not baptised in Upton Scudamore. His parents were George Pearce (1740-1773) of Upton S and Mary HAre, born 1742 Dilton, who married 20 Jan 1767.

George's father was Andrew Pearce (1696-1778) farmer of Upton S
