Just seen further messages.  Jocelyn was born 1822 so I am sure that is her death.   Very strange finding two of the family in the Spiritualist section of the cemetery as the family in England were staunch Catholics.
And Alfred was born in 1877 so the date is right.  And at least two of the children have the initial R which would be Russell so I am quite convinced we have the right family.
cheers,
Abiam
PS Apologies I put they arrived Dec 1923 that should have been departed!

Sorry to be a pain but I have just searched the two links given for Colin Russell Brown enlisting at Perth in 1939 but I cannot see it!  It is late maybe I just can't see straight,

This marriage may be something.....

BROWN,  ROBERT R in  PERTH  reg.258  M  yr 1929 to SHEPLEY,  EILEEN F.

There was another Robert Russell BROWN in WA who is showing on a few indexes.  I do not think he is of the same family.  He was a Seventh Day Adventist by his burial place.

Goodo Kris,

But he is a very young bridegroom  in 1929 I do note if it is the right man ::)

Sue

ADDING
This is the probable birth of the above Eileen F. Shepley and she would have been a bit older than him at marriage aged 22

Hi Abiam,
Now all this is "Longshot information" but I cannot make myself ignore it.

Robert Russell BROWN may have had a son by the same name and he may be a martial Arts expert in Perth.

Have a look at these links and see what you think.  One even has an email address for him.  Never know, he may be a living descendant!!
