I am researching Rochell from Staffordshire on behalf of a friend. His lot moved to West Yorkshire. I have a Richard Rochell, born Kiddeymore Green, Staffs,1823 son of R. Rochell ( according to his marriage certificate) He married Emma Rochell, born 1826, Ryton Shropshire, daughter of E. Rochell ( same source)
They had a son, Richard, born 1859, Patshull, Staffs and it was this Richard who moved away from the area.

Any use to you?

Jen

I have just read you message about researching Irons surname. My 2x grandmother was Jane E. Irons, born about 1832 in England.  She married Richard B. Evans in Ontario, Canada about 1852 and produced seven more Evans in the London Ontario region.  She died 1884 in London.
I regret that I do not have more specific information re birthplace or emigration; I am limited by the Ontario census data.
BEDINGFIELD (John, married Elizabeth Reeve 1713/14 Rumburgh) descendants lived in Mettingham/ Bungay area of Suffolk, then Yorkshire before coming to Canada.  OGLE (Nottinghamshire), BURT/BURTT (HENRY, b. abt. 1585/96 Harberton or Halberton, Devonshire, d. April 1662 Springfield, Mass., U.S.A.; BENJAMIN b. 1741 Ridgefield, Ct., U.S., d. 1785 N.B., Canada) Grant (Samuel, born c. 1760 Dublin, Ireland, died c. 1817 N.B., Canada)
