Look-up required please in the Musters for John Sevior c1799/1800 likely Somerset (possibly 1828 NSW Muster - he was in Van Diemen's Land as a Farmer/Settler. I found him years ago but have mislaid the documentation)
By 1833 John had a location order for a property of 500 acres - no 53 Deddington, Evandale, Van Diemen's Land in the vicinity of Nile Land and he called this property "Nile Rivulet" - next to John Glover at "Patterdale" Deddington.
In about 1831 John was on a property called "Pidgeon Plains" (likely of 100 acres and likely in the vicinity of Kingston -  next to and part of the property of Henry Batman then John Batman - one of the founders of Melbourne).
It is possible that his property of "Pidgeon/Pigeon Plains" was the subject of a location order in September 1830 to the Aboriginal tracker "John Pigeon" of the "Black Line". This property was traded away and that may have been to John Sevior  :o
