I don't understand how come some where removed and this wasn't?

The only living persons allowed in avatars are the members themselves. Some proud parents and grandparents have included a child's picture. We will make an exception for this, for now. We leave it to your discretion, to remove it when the child grows older.

A child photo is still a child's photo, it does look a little hypercritical?

I am sorry you have a problem with my newborn grandson's photo being displayed in my avatar. 

For interest, I certainly do not plan on posting my 16 year year old granddaughter's photo in my avatar. (though that has no relevance to this thread)

I find this to be totally off topic. This is the mugshots thread! It is the thread for our members to share a photo of themselves. Nearly 3 years years ago when I made this comment, members were posting multiple photos of themselves, photos of their whole family, their children, their grandchildren, the neighbours, the family pet, the holiday at Brighton etc.

My comment related solely to the posting of such images on the mugshots thread. This thread is for the posting of a single image of yourself, it has nothing to do with avatars. 

I did not ever (nor can I) remove an image from an another members avatar.

Hi Kris, may i first say congratulations to you and your family on the new twig to your family tree.
My point i was making That your avatar is still a photo of a child.Now as i am foreve been told , " Rules are rules and can not be change just for one person. They have to apply to everyone the same" And why does a child age come into it?
