Many thanks.
Having seen the entry in the book, I'm not sure how to verify that this is indeed my family member. I once thought that Applegarth was an unusual name(ha, ha)
Thought that there would be details of family, or burial somewhere.

Thanks, but now I'm really confused because I also have Elizabeth Huscroft B 1795 marrying Thomas Applegarth b 1798. Both in Bishop Middleham.

Marriages BMI:  15 Nov 1809. George Applegarth and Mary Huscroft. Witnesses Edward Smith, David Applegarth, John Potts.

5 days later was a marriage of John Applegarth and Elizabeth Ryder. Wit. Benjamin Walker, Mary Hodgson and William Heighington

Both seen on IGI extracted records and Reginald Peacock transcription.

14 May 1818 Thomas Applegarth married Eliabeth Huscroft--maybe a sister to Mary?

Baptisms--Robert was first child, of Farnlass, Elizabeth was first daughter and 2nd child
Another child to add to the list is Mary baptised 5 Sept 1817(see burial below)

Burial BMI: Mary Applegarth, age 16, of Farnless, 15 Mar 1834

Just a little light relief;APPLEGARTH is quite an uncommon name. We manually transcribed them from fiche at the library 1837 to 2004 during this period there were 3,079 BMDs of that 1,199 were births. When we finished we decided to repeat the process for my father's family, same period 74,042 BMD of which 30,709 Births. I was astounded, I thought my name was rare, I had only know 4 during my working life. So we must be thankful that the "Apps" are a little rare-ified lol
