Hi
I hope this is in the right section sorry if it is not. 

I am looking for information on a ship that was grounded during a bad storm in 1953 of the coast of Borve.  I know there was a big rescue by many of the locals.  The reason I am interested is my grandfather was the captain of the ship. His name was Dennis deVall and the ship was called the Clan MacQuarrie I don't know much about my grandfather so a bit of history would be great.
