would anyone have any infomation on RICHARD DENIS PORTER.He married my grandma in 1937 i have a marriage certificate they married in SOUTH SHORE,BLACKPOOL.His dad was Richard and maybe his brother was Geoffrey,they where both witness to the marriage.Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Ali,

On the Marriage Certificate for Richard Porter and your Grandmother does it give their ages at all ? If you have a rough Idea you may be able to try him on the free BMD sites (I just tried for you but the site was too busy)

If you are in the Uk and able to travel to your local studies library you may be able to find him in the St Catherines Index.
