Hi Mezzeri,

The baptism age 40 is new to me, despite having those transcribed registers I had missed the "age 40" and dismissed this entry.  I had the children detials too.  Now correcte in my tree.  Thank you.

David Lockwood dying in 1845 I had an entry from BoS PR for 06 Sep 1837 • Barrow Upon Soar, Leicestershire, England, age 60, transcribed PR.  Have you confirmed the 1845 death with a certificate?

John 1860-1917 is also our lineage, through 2nd marriage and daughter Emma Elizabeth Lockwood

Kind regards,
Spark

Hi Spark
No I have no know  death certificate for David who died 184t5 just the record on The PR data.

David married Jane Riffon was recorded as 'David the younger'
I think David wbo died 1837 was an older relation to the younger David.

My lineage is also through John B 1860 but 1st marriage.

Perhaps best to Pm me for more info on the Lockwoods.

Kind regards
Mezzeri

Not sure whether you have checked, but the 1845 death of David Lockwood, registered in Barrow Upon Soar Registration District (March quarter), shows an age of 49 - www.gro.gov.uk

Buried 27 February 1845 - aged 49 - abode said to be Barrow.

Added:  perhaps this would tie in with a baptism - Barrow on Soar - 4 October 1795 - David, son of William and Mary Lockwood.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
