trying very very hard to trace
JOHN REEVES born portsmouth hampshire england born 1821

only sightings i have are english census 1881/71

his wife was johannah or julia born ireland 1826/1831(name and age changes on census)

his daughter julia reece born ireland @1863

we have a grandmother on another english census named hannah tullett born cork ireland @1801
whom i would assume was johannah/julia mother

i can find no marriage in england, could some kind person PLEASE have a look for me on irish census/marriages

i hope i am not being a pain  :-[
but i posted a question on the irish/cork board its topic name is arghhhh....and it doesnt seem to get as much attention as the beginners board..
 i wondered if some one with access to irish census could see if they could help  ;D
my membership on a certain site is not letting me access irish census etc (it wants more money !!)

The reason you've not had a response on your other post is quite simple and nothing to do with the Cork board it's on:

The 1st complete census of Ireland is 1901 and civil registration of births, deaths and Catholic marriages began 1864 (from 1845 for other marriages).

You are trying to find a pre 1864 marriage. If it was a Catholic ceremony you need to search for church records (if they exist). Otherwise index to Irish civil registrations are here (free) and the details listed from the index will enable you to order a marriage certificate.
