Birth cert for John Russell born May,1848 in Salford , Bedfordshire. Registration district is Woburn. Father is James Russell, bricklayer and mother is Maria Russell - can't quite make out her maiden name but lools like Tansley or Tandley.

Baptism nowhere to be found. Possibly in a nonconformist church near ALMONDBURY or HUDDERSFIELD.

I have a James Russell from Arlesey Bedfordshire born 1795   married to Mary Tansley b 1799 in  1817 in Hitchin Hertfordshire  .... Mary would be my Great Great Great Aunt...  not sure if this is any help.
