Hello

Can anyone tell what name this is?

it is from a marriage certificate for Ellen Taylor and he is listed as her father but she is a widow so using her married name.

i think its flower but i cannot find anyone of that name on a cenus with a daughter ellen.

The marriage took place in 1877 in clifton, gloucestershire.  Ellen appears on later census born in bristol c.1840.

Can anyone confirm the surname of father and find them prior to this?
