HI All,
Ta Kiwihalfpint,  for your good wishes.
Ta kansar, that's the closest I have ever got to see his middle name - first time I know he used it was in 1886.
Ta Spidermonkey, could you let me know a bit more of a clue please, I have ancestry but its not throwing that entry up at me
Ta Toni, you know I have 13 pages of one line entries for possible births, and similar list for census possible sightings.
Cheers, all MA

,
as Mary had previously married.

Mary Smith was born Mary Ann HUNT in Manchester, Lancashire England.

Mary Smith’s death registration (July 1930) gives her parents as Hartley Hunt, a farmer and Mary Dickens.  On all the NSW birth certificates for her children her full name, Mary Ann Hunt is recorded.

do you know what Marys first married name was?

Hi Toni,

re Abraham Smith the waterman in that lane, his John Smith - well I have email contact with the chap who has done that research on that Smith line, and there were two births registered in 1840 for a John Smith.  One was son of Abraham and Amelia, the other was son of John and Lucy.

Hope that explains your questions, Cheers MA
