Hello All,
         I am seeking some form of documentation (birth cert. - the perfect answer), for James.
         I have from his birth details, from the IGI -
Birth: 31 July 1862, St Nicholas, Aberdeen, Aberdeen, Scotland.
                  Parents: James Sinclair  &  Mary McPherson.

         James migrated to Australia prior to 1887, as he married on 26 Nov., 1887 in Glen Innes, NSW, to Amelia Ann Dewbery.   Certified.

         Death details from NSWBDM -
Death: 1 Sept., 1909; @ 47yrs; baker by trade; born Aberdeen, Scotland;
27 yrs in NSW; married Glen Innes @ 25yrs.   Certified.

         Does anyone have any info on "my James" ? Any help appreciated.

You can obtain his birth certificate from this site.

www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

It is a pay per view site. I have done a search and his Birth Certificate is available there.

Hi. James McKenzie Sinclair in my maternal Grandfather. My Mum was his youngest child (of11). Think he was a merchant seaman before settling and marrying at Glen Innes....moved back to Sydney soon after. We do not have too much info of the Scottish Family but there are lots of descendants here and we have a pretty good family network....and some photos....maybe even one of his mother...Mary McPherson! Would be interested to hear your details.

Hello , I saw your post ; unfortunately I don,t have the information you were looking for , but James Sinclair was my late Great Grandfather , The father of my Grandmother  (Maiden Name Eveline Sinclair ) my father being Ronald Sydney Jenkins . All from Sydney N.S.W I now reside in Melbourne Australia .

 I guess that we are related .Unfortunately because I was a 10 y.o when my family moved to Melbourne I have had next to no contact with the Sinclair side of the family
