Hi Willis

Good try -  "Romeo" was used for some of his descendants but I was not one of them, although I have a male line to him.

Re Nat's mentor, Ben Caunt, I now know that he was one of five children (all boys) and now believe that Nat's mother-in-law is a cousin of Ben's wife via a Butler family link.  Are you in a position to shed any light on that?

Regards

Frank

Hi Frank

Its all too far away from my tree I'm afraid. My link into the Calvetti's is remote and by marriage. My 1st Cousin x1 Winnifred Grace Underwood married Charles F Calvett in 1941.

Hi Willis

Charles Frederick Langham Calvett is my first cousin, once removed, who was born in Romford on 19 May 1918 and died in South Brighton, Adelaide,  South Australia on 20 Jul 2005; his eldest son, Michael Charles Langham Calvett, has been teaching English in Moscow for a number of years and suddenly died there last week.

Dear Frank,

I do not know if you know this, but there is a plaque to him in Hinckley, as to where he was born. I walk past it every day, if you don't already have the picture I will take one on my phone and send it to you.

Best Regards

Ben

Dear Ben

I visited Hinckley a few years ago to see my great great grandfather's birthplace but did not see any plaque to him.  I would really appreciate a photo please.

Kind regards

Frank

Hi - cant recall how many greats but I am great great great granddaughter of Nat. My granddad thomas whos to tell me amazing stories of Nat and Elizabeth he was very clued up on then unfortunately it was 20 years ago and cant really remember them. My Langham side are originally from Hinckley/stoke goldin then moved to Mablethorpe must be somewhat back in 1980s sometime im guessing (afraid im the only one left on this branch of the tree) the Langham creast had a motto - something like noly tangere me I think 'touch me not' (not 100% like I said 20 years ago aged 7 when I got the family history)
