McDonald/Hackett and McDonald /Lenehan......any info on these related families in Co. Offaly, 1800s to present.

3 Hacketts and 3 McDonalds died in ww1 from Offaly/King's County.
 McDonalds were from Rahan and Birr and the Hacketts were from Ballcumber.

          Thank you for such a prompt reply.  My McDonalds  were around  the Rogerstown/Monasteroris area, and the Hacketts were in Monasteroris....but it's quite possible they were originally from some other townland......The WW1 connection is a total unknown, but possible.  Further searching necessary.    Thanks again for your help...keep up that 'lurking around' the archives !
