A wee bit of background. The village of Menstrie is in the parish of Logie, a parish which is partly in Perthshire, partly in Stirlingshire and partly in Clackmannanshire. Menstrie is in the Clackmannanshire part. It is also only a mile or two from Alva, which is another parish in Clackmannanshire.

So any church records of people in Menstrie would likely be in the Logie parish register, which is generally listed as being in Stirlingshire.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
