I'm happy with Winder and Warper, but Richard has me confused.
A self actor winder of cotton?????? Any more ideas?

Yep! I saw a program of the history of Industrial Accidents.

Apparently, it was quite common for loom operators to loose One or more fingers.

Maybe that's where the saying "get yer finger out" came from  ;D ;D ;D
